1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
The attire for the event is modest wear (abaya/long dresses for women & semi-formal for men). Women are welcome to bring mel foxa to wear over their dresses for the cultural photos part to follow.
We will be taking family photos inside the masjid before the program begins. Please note that we are on a VERY TIGHT SCHEDULE, PLEASE BE THERE BY 1 PM not to miss this set of photos before the bride and groom change into cultural attire!
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
The program will continue with Quran & Du’aa inside the masjid and conclude with Asr prayer. Cultural reception & lunch to follow downstairs.
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Lunch will be served downstairs. Families & friends will be called in groups to alternate taking cultural photos with the bride & groom during this time. Women are welcome to bring a mel foxa to wear over their dresses.
6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Intermission for Maghreb prayer upstairs. Men to stay in the lobby upstairs until Gufta ceremony concludes downstairs.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
This will be a WOMEN ONLY portion of the event. Men will be allowed to enter afterwards for photos.
We kindly ask EVERYONE NOT TO TAKE ANY PHOTOS during the Gufta ceremony, as the bride will not have her hijab on.
