To Have and to Holmes

Our journey began in the fall of 2019, when we met as freshman soccer players navigating the excitement (and chaos) of college life. While we didn’t become fast friends, the many team bonding events, shared classes, and mutual friends slowly brought us closer. As the year went on, our connection grew—fueled by countless movie nights at the campus cinema and late evenings spent at the ball fields or gym. Eventually, friendship turned into something more, and we officially began our relationship. Over the next few years, we faced our share of challenges—from sports injuries to the uncertainty of a global pandemic—but we were always there for each other, offering support and encouragement every step of the way. After graduation, life took us to different states, and maintaining a long-distance relationship wasn't always easy. But those challenges only made our bond stronger, teaching us patience, communication, and unwavering commitment. Then, in the summer of 2024, we took a trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee. At the top of Lookout Mountain, surrounded by breathtaking views, we made the most important decision of our lives—we got engaged! Since then, we’ve been joyfully planning our wedding and dreaming about the future we're building together. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
