We have rented the Floating Farmhouse for our wedding venue. Just two hours from NYC, the the Floating Farmhouse's stunning spaces and storybook setting make it the great Catskills escape for all of us. The Floating Farmhouse is much better shared together; plunging into deep cool water from stepped boulders at the water's edge, rolling dough for the wood fired pizza oven, dancing to old vinyls in the Great Room, apple picking in the meadow, celebrating in the light-dappled barn—simple pleasures that, in the right place and company, become profound. A fully-restored 1820s Catskills manor home, the Floating Farmhouse is a mix of modern architecture and old-world charm, perched at the edge of a pristine Catskills swimming creek and ancient dam of hand-laid stone. We can't wait for you to see it in person!

Everyone is welcome to stay with us at the Floating Farmhouse (and we would LOVE it if you did). The home comfortably sleeps all 15 of us. In addition to the master bedroom, there are four bedrooms with five beds for seven guests, and a Great Room which sleeps seven guests with a pull out queen bed, two inflatable queen beds, and a sleeping ottoman. Should you prefer not to stay with us at the Farmhouse, please let us know. If you do plan to stay the weekend with us, it will be $125/per guest per night. We've covered everything in advance so please let us know either way. Thank you!
Flight
Airports
We recommend flying into JFK, LGA, or EWR. Let's share itineraries with one another and ideally coordinate carpooling to the venue.
Rental Car
Driving
If you decide to rent a car, the Floating Farmhouse is a 2 hrs 30 min drive from JFK, 2 hrs 15 min from LGA, and 1 hr 50 min from EWR. Once you're out of NYC, the drive is beautiful—especially during fall!
Train
Point Jervis
In lieu of renting a car, you can also travel by train to the Point Jervis Station which is roughly 20 miles from the Farmhouse. We are happy to coordinate rides to/from the station, just let us know.
