We're Getting Married!

It all started when we matched on Tinder in November 2014. I messaged Lucas first, with a casual "hey, hi, hello", and frankly, I'm shocked he even responded to that. Our first date was at Popbar in the Anaheim Packing House, where I embarrassingly managed to get melted chocolate all over my face and clothes. Luckily, Lucas still wanted to see me after that. We started talking every day and hanging out a few times a week when Lucas was in Anaheim for barber school. We became great friends and bonded over music, food, and movies. We were both oblivious to the feelings we had for each other...UNTIL one night in January 2015 when Lucas spontaneously invited me to a concert. From there, emotions grew stronger for the both of us and we both realized we wanted more with each other. On February 12, 2015 we made things official and the rest is history...

The day before Christmas Eve 2021, we had plans for a day in LA. It was raining and I wasn't happy about it possibly messing up my hair and makeup. Lucas made a pitstop at a park downtown as we were on our way to see Hamilton. I had no idea why he got out of the car, but with the rain I knew I had to follow him. He proceeded to lead me up a muddy hill (in new Jeffrey Campbell boots, btw) until we got to the top. The top of the hill revealed a breathtaking, scenic view of Los Angeles and I started crying before he even got on one knee. We knew for a long time that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and the timing was just right.
