As most of you may know, Shaheem & I met while in law school. In the law library's 4th floor computer lab to be exact. Shaheem was a Dean's fellow and was in the library to help first year law students with their first Memo. Shaheem had just finished working with this student who later stopped by my table, located next to Shaheem's , to tell my roommate and I that he gave her really good advice. As she walked away, I looked over at him and said "Me Next", in which he replied "For real?" I proceeded to join him at his table and present him with my argument , which needless to say, was the opposite of everyone else's argument. He informed me I almost had him convinced everyone else was wrong and I was right even though as a Dean's fellow he knew what side the argument should fall on...we laughed almost the entire time while I was attempting to prove to him how right I was. I knew he was someone I wanted to know and when he offered to continue to help me with my Memo it was clear he wanted to get to know me as well....Who knew the phrase Me Next would lead us down a path we plan to journey together for eternity....
