Love Story
Yasmin and Freddy first met on November 19, 2023, at Cornerstone Chapel.
The next day, at a church Friendsgiving, they played a competitive spikeball game. They didn’t talk much while playing, but during a few casual moments, Freddy’s humor quickly stole the show. He made Yasmin laugh so much that she almost forgot he was bald!
In January 2024, they both attended Passion Conference, and at the end of that powerful weekend of seeking the Lord’s face, Freddy wrote Yasmin a letter, pouring out his heart and his desire to pursue her despite the distance. As Freddy’s soccer journey carried him farther away to HCU, the distance only made their hearts cling tighter, and their love was undeniable. On April 6, 2024, in Houston, TX, Freddy asked Yasmin to be his girlfriend.
On November 28, 2025, overlooking the breathtaking views of Point Loma in San Diego, California, Freddy asked Yasmin to spend forever with him. With joy & answered prayers, she said YES!
