Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive no later 6 o'clock in the evening. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15 in the evening, so this will allow you enough time to park and find your seats! We ask our guests to please allot enough time to travel to the venue, as it is in the museum campus, and traffic into Chicago on a Saturday will be very busy!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Formal. For men, this means tuxedos or black suits with bow ties. For women, this means gowns and floor length dresses. We can't wait to see everyone dressed to impress!

Can I bring my kids or a date/ guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those whose names are stated on the invitation and the RSVP. And while we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the bride and groom's family, as noted on the invitation.

We ask that all guests RSVP by July 15th!

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place on the Sundial Terrace outside. Cocktail hour will also be outside, on the upper terrace. Dinner and dancing will follow inside, in the solarium.

Where can I park?

Answer

Should you choose to drive to the Adler Planetarium, there will be parking available at the venue. If you choose to use Uber, you may be dropped off at the main entrance and follow the signs directing you to the ceremony on the Sundial Terrace!
