Liberty State Park offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. You can stroll along the waterfront, which is perfect for taking in the scenery and capturing photos. There are also plenty of activities including visiting the Liberty Science Center, enjoying a picnic on the lush lawns, and exploring the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal. There are also plenty of bike paths and walking or jogging trails. The park often hosts events and festivals, so you might find live music or cultural celebrations!
The best old school Italian deli in Jersey City/Hoboken! If you go on Saturday, the line might be out the door, but you have to get the roast beef special with mozzarella (they might make fun of you if you don't pronounce it mutz). Rob and I like to add hot peppers! It's cash only (but they have an ATM)!
Our favorite cheap place to get tacos and margaritas! This spot has been known to host multiple 30th birthdays (Anna and Richie's) and is always a favorite of the Yarkosky family (just ask Chris Yarkosky about the time that she drank the salsa).
Washington street is the heart of Hoboken. There are a ton of great restaurants, bars and shopping. This is where you will find our favorite O'bagel, the famous Carlos bakery, Elysian Cafe (our favorite spot for an Aperol Spritz) and so many other amazing little shops!
