After years of friendship, Josh and Yari's love story officially began in November of 2023. Though they couldn't see it yet, the Lord was slowly curating the sweetest love story they could not have imagined. As their friend group grew closer, it seemed Josh and Yari found more and more connections to one another, from both studying business at UH to both sharing a passion for music. As time went on, it was as if God was smiling down while nudging them towards one another. Finally after a weekend of serving at a youth convention together, Josh mustered up the courage to invite Yari out to her favorite coffee shop (if you know you know;) which sparked the beginning of a beautiful relationship. From there on out Josh and Yari were pretty much inseparable. Although Josh had an internship in D.C. shortly after, the season of long distance only solidified their relationship and love for one another. About 6 months later, once Josh was back in Houston, they made things official at the same coffee shop where it had all begun! A year later, after many, many, many coffee dates, bible studies, concerts, picnics, and church rides together, Josh finally asked the question that would bring us to this day! Through the years, Josh and Yari have learned to stick together in all the craziness of life. But even more importantly, they've learned to always push each other closer to God, who has never failed to show them guidance, grace, and love. God's goodness has brought them this far and they can't wait to start this next season and to share it with you all! The countdown begins!!!
