Tyler and Alexis met in high school through you guessed it..social media! Alexis had posted a picture of her on her story, and Tyler messaged her immediately after. Shortly after they started talking here and there, then COVID hit and we were on our phones more than ever. It started slow with cute messages, late night phone calls, and just getting to know each other. At the end of the day they were both only 15, and they had no clue what they were doing. They kept talking for about 3 months and then had their first date...at Cracker Barrel with both of their parents and siblings there as well. It was...something. As awkward as it was, it clearly worked. Tyler and Alexis spent all 3.5 years of high school making the hour drive from Coleman to Albany whenever they could, and loving each other even though they were endlessly told they were too young. They both decided to enroll in college at Texas Tech, and this was the first time in their 4 year relationship where they got to spend more than a few hours a month together. Every bit of the time they got was so precious and they grew so much more in love throughout their time at Texas Tech. Tyler proposed to Alexis during an event that was disguised as family photos. He thought everything through perfectly, and made sure it was exactly what Alexis wanted. She obviously said yes, and now we're here. Through high school drama, showing up for each others events, going to prom, moving to college, late night study sessions, countless laughs, endless dates, moving to an apartment together, getting their three dogs, getting engaged, getting jobs, and applying to graduate school Tyler and Alexis have done it all together and they couldn't imagine it any other way. Tyler and Alexis are so grateful to have found each other so young, and to get to love one another through multiple stages of this life.
