Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Trailhead in Gorges State Park
Gorges State Park is one of Meredith's favorite places to visit to hike along the river! It's pretty in all seasons! The hike to Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls on the Horsepasture River is by far the most popular in the park. The three-mile round-trip hike takes you to the waterfalls located just outside the park in Pisgah National Forest. Also, on the river are Hidden Falls and Stairway Falls.

Take a plunge in Looking Glass Creek by sliding down a 60 foot natural water slide!

Looking Glass Falls
A quick walk from the parking lot will take you to Looking Glass Falls. Parking is on the side of the road so be on the lookout for it.
Moore Cove Falls Trail
This 3/4 of a mile hike (each way) is easy and fun! With a neat waterfall to walk behind when you get there!
