Flight

Salzburg Airport

Salzburg has a small airport that has flights coming to & from most major European cities. If you're flying in from China or the U.S., the best way would be to transfer via Frankfurt/London.

Train

Salzburg Hbf (Main Railway Station)

If you're coming from continental Europe, train is a very convenient way to travel. Salzburg is only a 2.5hr train ride from Vienna.

Getting Around in Salzburg

We've found Salzburg to be relatively easy to navigate by taxis or Uber. If you prefer to rent a car, there are also agencies (Avis, Hertz, etc.) around the main Train station. Hotel

Accommodations

The location of our wedding is also a hotel itself (it's a historical landmark where the Sound of Music was filmed!). However, the hotel's capacity is very small. We would suggest either booking an Airbnb or hotel next by.
