COVID-19 *This section will be updated accordingly to changes in plan and policies for our wedding. While we look forward to everyone being able to celebrate with us in these trying times, we still cannot ignore the threat of COVID-19. With new information coming forth day-by-day, it is hard to predict what the situation will be by October, and while we hope for the best, we must prepare for the worst.* ************************************************************************************ Your health and safety are our top priority and we have several precautions in place to help create a fun and relaxed environment for our guests! o Arroyo Trabuco as a beautiful outdoor space. We anticipate using only 30% of the venues capacity, which will allow guests to spread out comfortably. o Tables will be spaced six feet apart and seated with 6-10 people (tables with more than 6 people will be for families or those in similar social circles). Chairs will also be distanced for the ceremony. o The venue is providing ample hand sanitizer, and catering staff will be wearing masks and serving food throughout the cocktail hour/reception in order to eliminate unnecessary contact. o please practice safe six! We will have a supply of masks available for anyone in need. o To ensure that we can all gather safely, please be sure to follow social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC. We kindly ask you to stay home if you are showing any symptoms. We hope that these precautions make you feel safe to celebrate with us! We understand the concerns for those unable to make it or feel unsafe to come, and we look forward to a time when we can celebrate with you! We are carefully monitoring state regulations and will notify you of any changes that may affect our wedding. Please feel free to reach out to us for any further questions.

Michael and Alyssa met while attending the University of California, Riverside in 2011 and became best friends. Michael always offered Alyssa a ride back to her hometown in Orange County whenever she felt homesick. On their rides home they both shared their interest in music, travel, food and good conversation. It was in these small moments that Michael jumped right out of the "friend-zone" and they started dating in 2013. From there, the rest was history! Six years worth of memories later and we've explored the back roads of the US, lived in our beautiful little apartment and enjoyed the company of so many of our friends and family.
Two days before their 6 year anniversary, on a rainy and wet Southern California day, Michael drove Alyssa out to San Clemente Pier. It was the first place that Michael first kissed Alyssa and a place they would head out to before going back to Riverside when they were younger. After walking all the way down the pier in the rain, in flip flops and a flimsy umbrella, Michael got down on one knee and proposed to Alyssa and she said "Yes!"
