We’re getting married!

(This is being told in Yanne’s POV.) I went out with Becca to spend the day with her bc she was moving away soon. A week before she had asked me if I wanted to get my lashes done before so we could look pretty when we went out on Saturday. (1st hint) So we went on the wednesday before to get out lashes done and went to the beach. Then fast forward to Saturday, she came over and helped me pick out what I should wear. She made me wear a dress (2nd hint) (at this point I was already super suspicious but I ended up completely forgetting abt it on Saturday lol) I felt super overdressed but I just went with it right. We went to the farmers market in Hollywood and we were hanging out there. We had planned to meet up with the boys (Caio and Henrique) at the beach later arnd 2pm. They had gone to the gym together and went out to eat lunch (the bromance was so cute) 🥰 I was so happy they were spending time together so I didn’t rly text Henrique a lot or check his location. Me and Becca’s plan was to go to the farmers market and then to Barnes & Nobles bc I promised I would get her a book. So we went to my FAVORITE place on earth. The book store 🤩. You can imagine how excited I was to be there and I wasn’t even getting anything for myself lol. I was scanning the isles and pointing out all the books I read before and giving her recommendations when she pointed to a book and asked me what it was. I looked and saw this book called love & olives ( which I’ve read before) and was like “OMG I’ve read this before it’s so good you should read it.” And I ran to the aisle next to it to show her the entire series it comes with right and then she was like “no not that one🤦‍♀️ the one next to it” So then I went back and looked and I saw that it was like a fake book box. A box that was shaped like a book. And I opened it but it just looked like one of those book merch boxes that had been opened like someone stole from it or smth. So I put it back right. Then Becca gives me this look (like seriously Yanne) and she proceeds to say Starbucks ! And so I’m turning arnd still kind of confused abt the look, and now about to ask her “oh you wanna get Starbucks? “ When half way through my sentence Henrique pops out from behind and isle and walks to me wearing a black button down and black dress pants( he looked so good) and then I finally processed what was happening and I started to say “ no, no , no this isn’t real” He’s smiling at me now and he grabs the book box I had JUST put back into the shelf and opens it to grab the ring box inside. (Like Yanne how dumb can you be kkkkk) It turns out the box had a huge paper inside saying will you marry me and I didn’t even see it bc I was so distracted by the books kkkkkk. Anyways he grabs the ring box and I’m like crying and he gets down on his knee and starts talking to me. I’m just in tears lol and I can’t remember half of what he said ( thank God Becca recorded it). It was beautiful and made me cry even more and he opened the box and I gasped bc the ring was so beautiful and I took off my other rings so he could put it on me and then I hugged him so hard while I was crying and laughing and in disbelief. Ugh it was so incredible kkkkk. I’m so grateful for Becca and Caio for helping to plan this and to my mom and Priscilla who gave the idea to do it at B&N and to my dad for agreeing to let Henrique propose while Becca was still here even though it was much earlier than expected. And most of all I’m so so so Grateful to God for putting him in my life. I tell him all the time God sent me an angel on earth to love me and take care of me in a way no one ever has. I couldn’t be happier with this gift and this privilege that God has given me. Thank you to everyone that participated in anyway whether that be planning or prayer.
