We met by chance through a friend at Georgia Southern University. We got along immediately and became good friends from there. Hunter was different than any guy I had met before. He was kind, smart, and fun to be around. We would be doing absolutely nothing and I would still enjoy his company. The day that Hunter realized I was the daughter of Allen Amason, he probably second guessed our friendship. Allen Amason, AKA Dad, is the Dean of the Parker College of Business, the college he and I both happened to attend. He decided to stick around and I am so glad he did. It might have been for the degree, but I like to think otherwise. Neither of us realized how much we liked each other until months down the road. When we finally started dating, my first thought was, "Wow, I really hope I get to marry a guy like Hunter." 3 years later, here we are. I am so blessed that my mom had the chance to get to know Hunter. She always told me that God has a plan for everyone and to be patient. God certainly had a way of working everything out and I am so glad I waited so patiently for God to bring us together. It has been the best 3 years and we are so excited for the lifetime of years to come.
