Our story on how we met depends on who you ask, the bride or the groom. But let’s just say, “happy wife, happy life” so we are going with the bride’s side of the story. P.S. After a fun night of dancing at the Banda Arrolladora concert, the bride and the diva squad continued the party at a local bar in DTLA. At this time, a mutual friend found out the bride was in DTLA and decided to stop by to say hello. Little did the bride know that the groom was tagging along for the night (pause)... **Full disclosure, the bride had already seen the groom on the mutual friend's IG. The groom was wearing a Mexico jersey so that was a plus already in the bride's eyes. She tried to use her FBI IG skills to find out who this 'friend' was, unfortunately, the groom had no IG. Odd, right? ...(resume) When the mutual friend and the groom walked into the bar, the bride instantly knew 'IT WAS THAT GUY FROM IG!' Throughout their conversation, the groom and the bride found out they attended the same high school and at the same time (groom was a senior, bride was a freshman), both played soccer in high school and had the same coaching staff, the groom lived 5 minutes from the bride, and the groom had attended one of the bride's birthday parties a while back. At this point, the bride was having subtle hints that 'this encounter' was meant to be but was not quite convinced. After 2-3 months of dating, the bride realized she was REALLY into the groom when she showed up to a 'chill' date with no make up, sweat pants, and hair in a bun. Now, you all know the bride does not "dress chill," it's either extra or extra AF. But somehow in that moment, it clicked. She did not care how she looked, she just really wanted to spend time with him. She instantly knew. She was falling for this guy... The groom became the first and only partner the bride said, "I love you" to... The groom became the first and only partner the bride's parents met... The groom became not only the bride's last boyfriend but her soulmate, her lobster, her end and her beginning, her forever... The first page of our story was written on June 11, 2016.
