Travel

The Wedding Website of Olamide Ilori and Yanique Andre
We’re so excited to celebrate our traditional wedding in Lagos, Nigeria with you. Lagos is a vibrant coastal city known for its food, music, and serious traffic. Most events will take place in Ikoyi, Lagos Island, we recommend booking your stay nearby.

Travel Note

Visa & Entry Requirements

Who usually doesn’t need a visa: • Nigerian passport holders • Citizens of ECOWAS countries (West Africa) – they can usually enter visa-free with a valid passport or ECOWAS travel document. For everyone else (e.g., Canada, U.S., U.K., Europe): You will likely need a tourist or short-stay visa. Nigeria is rolling out an online e-Visa / electronic approval process for short stays, which lets you apply and get approval by email instead of going in person.

Flight

Getting to Lagos

Main airport: Fly into Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Ikeja, Lagos. This is the main international airport serving Lagos. Typical routes: Many routes connect through major hubs like London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dubai, Doha, etc. Depending on where you’re flying from, you’ll likely have 1 layover. We recommend arriving at least 5 days before the traditional wedding to rest, adjust, and buffer for possible delays.
