How we met:
Hayden and I met on 4th of July of 2019. At the time I was working at a restaurant and one of my co-workers invited me down to her tent that they set up at Waimea. I thought there was going to be other co workers and people I knew at the tent but actually it was mostly her and her husbands family. (My co worker is Spencers Wife Jessys Sister in law, crazy connection I know) I felt a bit out of place but thought hey I made it all the way down here, might as well stay. I was talking with someone I knew on one side of the tent and in another circle on the other side of the tent I heard someone talking about how much they love New Zealand. My mum is from New Zealand so naturally I started getting nosy I walked over to the circle and sat myself right next to Hayden. We ended up talking on the beach until the sun went down. We had great conversations and I knew I wanted to see him again.. So I asked for his number. And the rest is history :)
