Lynn, or as Joana calls her "El-Jay", is Joana's long lost twin sister. She met Joana in freshman year of college where they bonded immediately after learning they both love writing and dancing. They were inseparable! They knew what each other were thinking without having to say a word. She is very kind, nurturing, and artistic. Now she is a mother to 2 beautiful daughters and works in nursing informatics. She also does wonderful calligraphy as if it's her profession!

The Real OG, Eric's Jamaican brother for almost 20 years. A chance encounter in a college chem class led to a lifelong friendship, sharing love for the Delfonics, underground hip hop, Chapelle's Show, fantasy basketball, NBA 2k5, disdain for the Knicks and laughs and inside jokes too numerous to count. For almost 2 decades Eric has turned to Leighton for advice and sees him as an inspiration for success, the embodiment of fall down 7 times, get up 8.

Joanna Fuentes

Joana met Joanna during high school when they sat next to each other in Writing class. They thought it was cool that they both have the same names except Joanna has 2 n's. That's why Joana calls her "Doble Ene." When Joanna still live in NJ, they would go everywhere together - grocery stores, parks, restaurants, etc. Now that she lives in Georgia, Joana misses her but she is happy that Joanna found her place in the South and even found her future husband!

What can be said about this man, that hasn't already been said, Nurse, Father, Husband, and Best Friend. A classmate from College, the constant optimist Francis always found the silver lining even in the most stressful situations, finishing a group project hours before it's supposed to be presented? No sweat. Eric and Francis have traveled the globe together, in search for the most delicious meals, From Europe to South America and a cross country road trip from NY to Houston.

Nicole is Joana's cousin but Joana always saw her as her little sister. Growing up, she would always tag team with Joana and play jokes with her 2 little sisters, Chelsea and Kathlyne. They used to make videos of them singing and dancing and just talking nonsense. Now that Nicole and Joana are older, Joana still sees Nicole as her little sister and she is always so proud of how much she grew up to be this amazing person. And now she is a mother to her cute baby, Serena Mae!

He is the most unselfish, thoughtful and kind hearted person Eric has met, just watch out for that tray of shots he brings around. Bringing joy and laughter and karaoke to everyone on a consistent basis, Romeo always turns it up.

Ahmie started off as Joana's Xanga friend in middle school and became best friends for as long as Joana could remember. They may live in 2 different states and 2 different time zones but whenever they talk or see each other, it's like they're neighbors. Ahmie met her husband through Joana and when Matthan was born, Joana became one of her son's godmothers. And a few years after Matthan, Aaliyah joined the party. Her family of 4 became Joana's family too.

Alex has been there for Eric all his life, As kids Alex would do everything his big brother did, watching the same shows Family Matters, Fresh Prince, riding bicycles inside and outside the house, playing backyard baseball, (over the house is a home run) and video games. Most of childhood was spent bonding over ice hockey. Different teams but the love for the game never faded. Watching all the highlights and lowlights in person at MSG/Prudential Center and on The television. Now Alex has grown up to be a successful doctor, and Eric couldn't be prouder.

Melita Camilo

Melita wasn't close to Joana at first. They only saw each other at the after school CCD class in 5th grade. It wasn't until 7th grade when both had some classes together. Since then, they became not just best buds but family. Joana always admires not just Melita's confidence but her passion and charisma. Melita never gives up until her vision becomes real. And Joana is always there to support her whether it was Melita choosing to move to L.A. back then or when she did all these shows in the past.

Always with a camera in his hand, Kuya Onald is there capturing all of the moments. Consistently patient, funny and generous, Ron looks out for his family and friends. He's also our official photographer, so be in the moment, dance your heart out and Kuya will be there freezing these moments in time. It's always fun to make these large events feel like an intimate affair, and it feels more special when your family gets to join in on the fun.

Stephanie Rivera

Stephanie met Joana when she transferred to Ramapo College. Since Stephanie was new, Joana became one of her mentors and her "ateh" (big sister). They spent a lot of time in each other's dorms whether it was to study, party, or karaoke! They are so close that Joana would sometimes spend her holidays with Stephanie's family, who Joana calls her second family.

Teruo Kono

This handsome devil, smh, Teruo was one of the first of Joana's friends she introduced Eric to, and since then he's taught Eric a tremendous amount, even helping build out their basement in the blistering July heat. (still remember zapping those all mosquitoes with those racquets) Always quick with a laugh or a story, Teruo is the one of the smartest and thoughtful souls you will meet.

Chikara was in one of the same classes in college as Joana. When Chikara mentioned that she was from Englewood, Joana had a gut feeling that they would be best friends. Joana didn't know any of the towns her classmates lived but she knew that she loved visiting Englewood. When you see Chikara, you will fall in love with her. She is the most inspiring person I know. She dreams big and goes after it. But she is also very humble and giving.

Edwin Santos

The Man, The Moustache, The Legend, Santos, has been there for the longest time for Eric, since Grade School, Introduced him to MF Doom, Final Fantasy, Pokemon and yes two people can finish a family meal at KFC. Almost every weekend Eric and Santos would hang out at the movies, watching UFC or just talking for hours about which Xmen movie was the best ( spoiler: they all are). Santos is a master of storytelling and he's the human version of Wikipedia. !Vicious Vipers!

Britni is Joana's partner in crime since the day she told Britni she loved her purse in college. Britni is not just smart and creative; she can make something out of nothing. Her imagination isn't just something she sees but she shows it in a way people can understand it. Britni may be a Science teacher but it's remarkable how quick of a learner she is when she's taught new things. She also owns a local business and loves adventures whether it is going to a new restaurant or museum or doing something new.

For Eric's big life moments, Jay has always been clutch. even helping move into a new house, giving advice on married life and how to perfect that supervillian laugh.

Izzie is Joana's cousin's daughter and her God daughter. She is creative like her photographer dad. Her favorite hobbies are drawing and making Youtube videos. She also likes to sing and jump at Urban Air! Jollibee is her go to food spot. She loves chicken joy but she must have her white rice!

Matthan is the son of Joana's best friends and her godson. He may live in Illinois with his parents and little sister but Joana feels a close bond with him whenever they do hang out. Matthan loves to fish like his father, eat like his mother, and play with his little sister.

Gary, or as they call him "Kuya Gary," is always the big brother at Joana's college. He would always give advices not just about school but also about life. Everyone can always depend on Gary.
