I’m going to take you back in time to the day I meet the love of my life. In the summer of 2013 I was looking for a job. My cousin hired me on as a driver with her at a car rental company. On the first day she wanted to show me around so I could get a better idea of what I’d be doing. She then had her top driver pick us up. She introduced him as “bubba” and add that he was a big teddy bear. I remember that day so clearly. He pulled up in a pearl white Nissan, Maxima. He had long curly hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with army pattern cargo pants. A kukui nut necklace around his neck and dark sunglasses that covered his eyes. He looked very intimidating and I was so shy around him. Hardly spoke a word. When the tour was over I thanked him for showing us around and I was handed a vest and put on the schedule for the next day. As the days went on I got to know him really well and seen why he was referred to as a big teddy bear. He may look intimidating, but is a big kid at heart and a major goof ball if I may add. I remember one day we were shuttling back cars in the same pearl white colored Nissan, Maxima blasting to some jams with the AC full blast because it was scorching hot outside. When “The Way” by Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller came on. Of course I was singing to it! Really low though so he would hear me so I thought. When he turns to me and said “sing it girl!” I was so embarrassed and turn red like a tomato but said “f**k it!” won’t harm anyone. We sang in duet, I was Ariana of course and he sang the Mac Miller parts. We laughed so much after and that’s when I really started falling hard for this guy with curly crazy hair! (Every time that song comes on it takes me back in time to this day.) One day he offered to get me lunch from subway. I took him up on his offer. As he was walking away I asked him, “how do you know what I want?” He followed up with “I call you when I get there.” I fired back with “how? you don’t even have my number.” 🧐 I seen what he was getting at, so I just told him add me on Snapchat that’s the best way to get a hold of me. (I was playing hard to get.) So he did. Weeks later, I agreed to meet him at my cousin house to help him pack because he was leaving on vacation the next day. When we were done packing his bag I was getting ready to leave when he asked me for my phone number. That’s when he finally got my digits. We texted non stop that whole week and a half, except for two day were he left me on read. I thought I may have said something that offered him or thought maybe he’s just not that interested. Later on I found out he dropped his phone in water and had to wait till the next business day to get one. When he came back into town it was a Sunday night. He asked to see me. He came to my house with strawberry milk shakes from Carl’s Jr. that was on July 7th, 2013. (Our anniversary date.) We’ve been inseparable since!

Fast forward to July 8th, 2021. We were on our way to Disney World. I had no idea our relationship was going to evolve to another level. I was so happy that my family was able to make it out to our Disney trip. I wanted to show them how magical this place was. Things had been different since Covid. We had to reserve a place and time to have a meal. We decided to pre-order food from Pinocchio Village Haus. I was going to place everyone’s order it was party of 20. As we were making our way towards Cinderella’s Castle I was taking down the orders, choices were between pizza (cheese or pepperoni) or chicken tenders. By the time we got to the front of castle I wasn’t even half way done. I was getting flustered because the app kept kicking me out. Everyone was taking family pictures in font of the castle, while I was still trying to place our order. When everyone came around me and was taking my belongs from me and said okay it’s your turn. I was upset because I knew I had to finish the order or it would kick me out. But Eugene insisted we take a quick picture. So we did. Once we finished with pictures I turn over and see him down on one knee. Then in seconds the world just disappeared it was him and I in that moment. I couldn’t believe what was happening we were both at a lost for words I physically couldn’t say anything. I was so overcome with emotions and shook my head so fast and said “YES!” ❤️ We are both so excited to have every single one of you join us on our special day. Our wedding day!!! I want to take the time know to let you all know how special you are to us! We can’t wait! Hope to see you all there.
