Brooke and I were in the same sixth grade gym class, unbeknownst to us we would become inseparable a year later after joining the dance team. We bonded fast over our love for dance, love for life and love for good cooking! We both attended and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where our love for bond grew further. She’s been my rock through every high and low, and I can’t imagine navigating life without her by my side. Our lifelong friendship is one I hold near to my heart.

Kaitlyn passed a message along to Brooke that our best friends should be best friends. Meagan and I met through Kaitlyn. Meagan also attended and graduated from USM. After that, the rest was history and lead to the best group of friends a girl could have. Meagan had brought so much fun, wittiness and love to our friendship. She is so full of life and love! To think that our friendship has felt like a lifetime makes me so grateful I get to experience life with such a special best friend by my side.
Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn and Brooke were friends and dance teammates our freshman year of college at USM. When I would visit Brooke’s room, Kaitlyn always made it clear that she didn’t mind sharing her space and apparent that she wanted us to be friends (likewise!). After a few dorm sleepovers, it was hard to imagine life without such a light like Kaitlyn! After rushing sophomore year, Kaitlyn and I got to experience sharing a sisterhood through Phi Mu.
