One of Anthony and Liane's early dates was 'Queen of the Night' which was a quirky, interactive feast and live performance that took place inside an old hotel, The Paramount. They both had a great time and considered it one of the best dates they had as a couple. When Anthony decided he was going to propose, he could think of no better venue and reached out to the team at 'Queen of the Night' to see if they would help. They were all in! From there, Anthony conspired with many of Liane's friends to trick her into thinking she was going to an annual fundraiser with a friend. As Liane waited in the Theatre District for her friend's mom before they headed to the gala, a gentleman approached her and invited her in to a 'special event' taking place at the Paramount. In her New Yorker mode, Liane was convinced he was angling to sell her something or promote the latest liquor. Instead, it turned out to be a masked ball meets mannequin challenge featuring all of their friends in NYC. Anthony proposed lyrically in a secret ivory room within the hotel and then they re-joined the group to celebrate. It was an amazing surprise that not only their closest NYC friends and family were present but that also Marie and Stewart, Liane's parents, had come up for the event. From there, the memories get fuzzy, but the night was worthy of being remembered and an incredible start to the #officialYamPies.
