FAQs

As we prepare for our big day, here are some of the common questions with answers for your reference.
Question

What time is your event?

Answer

The ceremony will start at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon. Please be at the venue 15-20 minutes before 2:30 PM.

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Responding to your wedding website on/or before June 05, 2024 will help us finalize our guest list. You will be hearing from our wedding coordinator, or from us directly, closer to this date to remind you to respond if you are yet to do so at that point. If we do not hear from you by the above date, we will regretfully assume that you are unable to attend and your seat(s) will, therefor be reallocated accordingly.

Question

Do I really need to RSVP even if we have confirmed with you in person, via text or facebook?

Answer

Yes, please. We will need this in order to consolidate guest details and finalize the head count for catering and seating purposes.

Question

I've RSVP'd Yes but due to a change in my circumstances, I will no longer be able to attend. What should I do?

Answer

We understand that there may be such circumstances, we ask that you let us or our coordinator know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat(s) accordingly.

Question

I've RSPV'd No but my schedule has since changed and I can now attend. What should I do?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible. Having said that, please understand that we may already allocate your seat(s) to another party, therefore, we cannot guarantee the same number of seats or one at all.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a formal event. Please take this opportunity to dress up. Black coat and tie with formal footwear for men and formal long gown / formal alternatives for women. Ladies: Please refrain shades of white, red and/or black colors. No cocktail dresses. For All: Strictly, no denim or jeans, trainers or sneakers, slippers or flip flops, t-shirt or any form of sportswear please.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

QR codes will be available for you to scan using your phone using waze or google maps. You may also opt to type in "Madre de Dios Chapel" for the wedding ceremony and Midlands Veranda for the wedding reception in any search engine you have used before. Although both the church and the reception venue will be held inside Tagaytay Highlands premises, we highly suggest that you input the name of the church and the venue directly as it would take approximately 15-20 minutes from the gate of Tagaytay highlands to the wedding venue. We also want you to note that the wedding ceremony venue as well as the wedding reception venue is walking distance so there will be no travel required after the ceremony.

Question

Can we bring our kids to the wedding?

Answer

We all love your children, but we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue. The only children attending are those part of our entourage. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off.

Question

Can I bring a date, yaya, or a driver, etc?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for the number of seat(s) allocated to your party. As much as we'd love to invite everyone to join us in celebrating this special day, unfortunately, we can only accommodate a limited number of guests due to venue and budget restrictios. Additionally, the food is pre-ordered and prepared per head. Please be reminded that unless your name is/are on the final guest list, you may be refused entry into the premises. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Where can we park? How much will it cost?

Answer

There are ample free parking spaces beside the ceremony / reception venue.

Question

What time will the reception start?

Answer

Wedding reception registration and cocktail hours officially start after the wedding ceremony. Head your way to the wedding reception venue to maximize the refreshments and finger foods to be served. Please also take this time to find your seats, take advantage of the photobooth, and mingle. The reception program will start at 06:30 PM and dinner will be served at 07:00 PM promptly

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone or camera during the wedding?

Answer

Please feel free to take as many photos as you want. QR codes will be available per guest in your table seat so that you could upload it on our online directory and share with us all of the pictures you have taken during the entire day. Although taking pictures are allowed all throughout the day, we would want to remind you that we hired an amazing team of photographers and videographers, so please refrain getting in their way, especially when sticking out your hand / self during the entourage processional march.

Question

During the reception, can I sit anywhere?

Answer

It took us a lot of time and effort to organize the seating plan, to ensure that everybody is comfortable. We'd greatly appreciate if you follow the seating plan accordingly. We tried to accommodate guests' requests and preferences as much as possible, so don't worry, you should be sitting either with or close to your families and friends. But of course, you are welcome to go around and mingle with other tables.

Question

What time will the program end? When can I go home?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to conclude at 09:00M but the after party follows. We ask that you stay at least until the end of the reception at 09:00 PM.

Question

Do you have a gift preference?

Answer

Yam lives in Belgium, while I live in USA. If you are considering a gift to help us on our way, the contribution of cash would really make our day. For family and friends in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, or the United States: If you prefer to send money online, please let us know, and we'll be happy to share the best option for you.
