Let's Celebrate!

Once upon a time, many eons ago... Kevin's Father, Patrick, and Kate's Father, Dan, were roommates in college together at the University of Arizona. Fast forward a few years, Dan and Roseanne Collins (pregnant with Kate) attended Kevin's Baptism - the first blind date! Since these early days, the Moms, Catherine and Roseanne, have been laying the groundwork for this perfect match. At first it was subtle, with yearly Christmas cards and reminiscing on memories from the past. Then, in 2014 the Moms became bolder, organizing a family dinner over Christmas break and a go-cart race over Spring Break where Kate and Kevin could re-kindle that undeniable Baptismal flame. These were blind dates #2 and 3. After a couple years, all of this scheming started to pay off. Kate and Kevin exchanged numbers and began a long-distance friendship. During his junior year at the Air Force Academy, Kevin invited Kate to be his date for the Ring Dance, at which he would receive his class ring. Could this be it - a success for the Matchmakers?? Indeed it is! At Ring Dance, the first real date, Kevin asked Kate to be his girlfriend and the families rejoiced. After almost four years of long-distance dating, and the blessings of the Dads, Kevin asked Kate to be his wife. Luckily for Kate and Kevin, the Moms' hard work has paid off. We look forward to celebrating our "Happily Ever After" with you!
