We're Getting Married!

Brandon and I met on a dating app, believe it or not! We had a date scheduled, but he said he would stop by the coffee shop I worked at to introduce himself in the morning. I was a nervous wreck during the entire wait! When he finally stopped by, I got flustered and ended up blurting out that someone left a soiled pair of pants in the bathroom that day. Despite the slip-up, he didn't think I was too much of a weirdo, so we met up at a local pub. We hit it off, and it has been the best adventure since!

It was Lena's birthday, and she was in the middle of a busy school term. She had a particularly busy day, so I told her I was taking her on a surprise birthday adventure when I came home. We drove up to Bald Peak in Beaverton and laid out a blanket to look at the stars. After I built up the courage, I got on one knee and asked her to become an official family and be my wife.
