How do I buy ferry tickets?

Answer

Online ferry tickets are available for purchase (Highly Recommended): Those joining us for the entire evening: 1. Go to fiferry.com 2. Click "Standby tickets" 3. Purchase "Standby One-way passenger" ($15) for each guest Please note: NO date will be requested but will be valid for Sept. 6. You WILL have a ride back to New London!!! Those needing to leave event on the 7:00 PM ferry: 1. Go to fiferry.com 2. Ferry Services -> Auto Ferry Reservations 3. Select 9/6/25 4. Select 1:00 PM ferry and # of tickets 5. Checkout They will validate your ticket again when you depart the island. Guests can purchase tickets upon arrival to the ferry docks. Please arrive to the ferry at least 30 mins in advance of departure as there will be a large number of people doing so.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are NOT asking guests to wear their best suit or gown. Ties are not required by any means. Please no t-shirts or jeans. Be comfortable enough to walk on the beach and perform your best dance moves freely. September days near the water tend to be very warm but may cool off after sunset.

How are guests getting to Fishers Island?

Answer

Please see the Travel and Schedule tabs regarding the ferry to the island. Tickets can be bought ahead of time (strongly suggested to streamline boarding) or upon arrival in New London.

Did I receive a valid ferry ticket with my invitation?

Answer

No. The tickets received in the invitation envelope were made by us and not associated with the Fishers Island Ferry District. Scan the QR code on them to RSVP and purchase the necessary ticket(s).

Can I bring my car on the ferry?

Answer

We are kindly asking guests without physical disabilities to not bring their car over as there is extremely limited parking at the Yacht Club. Any questions please reach out to us ahead of time.

Are there hotels on Fishers Island?

Answer

Unfortunately there is no lodging available on-island. We have provided a couple hotels located near the ferry. There is no room block for the wedding party.
