Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The wedding will take place outdoors right behind the Hatchery Riverside in La Crosse, WI in the Riverside International Friendship Gardens. For more info on the venue itself you can visit www.hatcheryriverside.com The bar/lounge and reception area will be indoors at the Hatchery venue. Everything is conveniently located right next to Riverside Park in downtown La Crosse, WI on the Mississippi River.

Parking/Transportation?

Answer

There is parking all along Riverside Park, as well as a public parking lot, available for anyone driving to the wedding. If you are staying in La Crosse, we encourage you to book a place in downtown La Crosse within walking distance, or take an Uber/Lyft! Please do not drink and drive.

Question

Is there a strict dress code?

Answer

No! We designated it as semi-formal/casual/garden party attire on the event page. Please dress nice, but wear what you are comfortable with for the weather. It can get very warm and humid in August. Please check the forecast for La Crosse, WI closer to the wedding date.

Open Bar?!

Answer

We will have a menu of complimentary beverages available for our guests, including Beer, Wine, Mixed Drinks, Carbliss, and Soda. We also plan to include 3 specialty cocktails: Hatchery's Old Fashioned, Strawberry Margarita, and a Paloma.

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will be doing a buffet style dinner catered by Italico Catering in La Crosse. They are part of Terrazo Hospitality that runs SAGRA Food and Wine and Osteria Emilia in downtown La Crosse.

Can I take pictures/video during the wedding?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture the moments so that everyone can have fun and enjoy the day. We plan to do an 'Unplugged' ceremony, and ask that everyone puts their phones and cameras away. You are more than welcome to take pictures and video the rest of the day and evening!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. We tried to add children options in the RSVP section to accommodate anyone wanting to bring their kids with, but we do encourage making arrangements for childcare so the adults are able to enjoy the evening with us!
