We met in September 2021 in the most unexpected way—through a swipe that changed everything. What started as a few lighthearted messages quickly turned into a deep connection that neither of us saw coming. By November, we officially began dating and soon found ourselves inseparable. In January 2022, we took a big leap and moved in together, excited to start our journey side by side. We filled our days with cozy routines, weekend adventures, and a growing sense of home. But just a few months later, in March, everything changed when a house fire disrupted our world. In that moment of uncertainty, we discovered just how deeply we could rely on each other. We faced the challenge hand in hand, and our love only grew stronger for it. That spring brought a mix of bittersweet transitions. Dylan achieved a milestone we were both so proud of—earning his bachelor’s degree and Yainery made the difficult decision to return to Naples to begin nursing school that September. And so began our long-distance journey, from May 2022 to March 2026. We learned the true meaning of patience, commitment, and devotion—navigating time zones, juggling busy schedules, and making every visit count. Every hello felt like coming home, and every goodbye reminded us of how strong our love had become. Now, after all the miles and moments in between, the countdown is finally on. We can’t wait to begin our next chapter—together, at last—and celebrate with all of you in beautiful Grenada!
