The chuppah is a canopy used in Jewish wedding ceremonies. It symbolizes the new home the couple will build together and it is where the wedding ceremony takes place.

Please arrive for the Reception (קבלת פנים). Keep in mind that if you are coming by car, parking can be tricky to found in Yafo.

Israeli weddings tend to be a bit more relaxed in terms of dress code than European weddings. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, think semi-formal.

Is there parking available?

Parking in Tel Aviv / Yafo is hard to find. There is a paid parking lot near the venue on Nahum Goldmann Street.

Temperatures in Tel Aviv in winter range between 10-19°C, it can be quite windy.

Answer

The food will be kosher. Please let us know ahead of time about allergies and dietary requirements.

Can we take pictures during the chuppah?

Answer

Ideally not, we have a photographer who will be taking pictures. Please don't get in his way.

What are the current security and travel conditions for Israel, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict?

Answer

Tel Aviv is generally safe but can face indirect threats like missile attacks and possible disruptions. Please book flexible tickets for both flights and hotels. Hotels tend to have a shelter and public shelters are listed on Google Maps. Parking garages also double as public shelters. Please download the HomeFrontCommand or Red Alert app to get notifications should there be any rocket alarms.
