The Henna ceremony is a traditional Mizrahi pre-wedding tradition, where family and friends gather to eat, sing and play music, and prepare the bride for the wedding by applying henna to her hands.

Wedding Weekend

We will spend Shabbat together in Washington, DC (see the travel section for more information to help you get here). Over Shabbat, we will share meals, celebrate with our aufruf (we will each get called to the Torah to be blessed by our community) , and enjoy free time together--we hope you can join us!

Join us for our tisches and cocktail hour starting at 1:00 pm. Chuppah and reception to follow! We cannot wait to share this special day with you! Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.
