we are renewing our vows

Jorge and I met at the Castle Beach Club on Fourth of July weekend of 1991. My best friends and I rented at this hotel and he so happened to be the DJ at the club. I went up to the DJ and said, “Hey Mr. DJ , can you play Material Girl for me?”. He replied, “ You are so beautiful , your eyes sparkle”. I dumped my date for the night and kept dancing to his set. I flirted with him from the dance floor, we spoke on the phone all night and this was the start of our lives together.

We got married in 1992 at the Hialeah Racetrack. We had our honeymoon at Walt Disney World, which started our obsession with the mouse and many years of anniversary vacations. On our first anniversary we celebrated in Cancun, Mexico. It was amazing being married so young and carefree. We had our first daughter, Princess Ysatis in 1995, then our second, our Lovebug Yvana in 1996 and lastly our third, Seaotter David in 2002. Those were the biggest blessings in our lives. We also mourned together losing David, my brother shortly after our marriage. So many other loved ones thereafter that we keep in our hearts. We've been at each others side through the good and the bad, in sickness and in health. He has always been my rock. At our 10th year anniversary, we renewed our vows at a Las Vegas style chapel and had a small reception at an Italian restaurant. Now, at 27 years and in the presence of God, we are looking forward to celebrating our love again with all of you.
