We are Getting Married!

Daniel and Sarah met online (Hinge). They dated with the help of zoom and face time in the next three months. Their first in-person date was in Asheville, NC, which lasted two weeks, during which Daniel made Manhattans for Sarah, and Sarah grilled corn for Daniel. Over the next year, they drove across the country and had fun living in Austin, TX, Richmond VA , and ultimately back on the Upper West Side in New York City.

Daniel and Sarah stopped by New Orleans on their drive back from Austin to New York in July 2021. Daniel rented an adorable Airbnb with a garden on Esplanade. The night before, they were woken up by gun shots across the street from their Airbnb at 3am and tentatively fell back asleep (thankfully no one was seriously hurt). The next day, a sleep deprived Sarah was not enjoying herself in the 90 degree heat, however after Daniel proposed in the garden of the Airbnb, the city suddenly seemed much brighter to the both of them.
