They met as freshmen at CSULB, both beginning their college journeys. Though their paths went separate directions shortly after — Christian heading off to finish school in San Luis Obispo, while Brittney stayed to complete her time at Long Beach State—they never lost touch. After graduating in 2019, both set off overseas to explore Europe and Southeast Asia, but the best adventure was still ahead of them. On September 24th, 2019, they reconnected on a summer evening at The Bungalow in Huntington Beach. Christian invited Brittney to join him for Taco Tuesday at Great Mex, and that simple gesture led to something neither of them could have predicted. Over the next few years, they traveled, camped, attended their favorite concerts, and made countless memories with their close family and friends. Then, in July 2024, after five incredible years together, they found themselves camping in their favorite spot, Big Sur. With the breathtaking coastline of Sand Dollar Beach as their backdrop, Christian asked Brittney to marry him, and the rest, as they say, is history.
