Fresno is about a 40 minute drive south to Visalia. There are currently no direct flights from the Twin Cities to Fresno, so if you choose this route, please allow plenty of time for travel. The journey usually takes close to half a day or more with connecting flights. Another option is LAX, which offers directs flights from the Twin Cities. From Los Angeles, Visalia is about a 2 hour and 40 minute drive. Flights to LAX are often more affordable, though it does require a longer drive afterward.
