We love Chestnut Hill because it has a cute little cobblestone main street with fun shops, a food hall with yummy food (we always get pho), and breweries. There is typically enough street parking, and there is a convenient train station right on the main street!
Wissahickon is FILLED with hiking trails- you will never run out of things to see! Most trails run along a relaxing stream and are easy for beginners. You'll find lots of bikers, dogs, and even horses along the trails! We love to eat at the Cedars House, a cute little café inside the park. They have the best ice cream floats!
We are members here, that's how much we love it! The zoo is relatively small, but still has fun animals. Ticket prices are typically about $13. The best part about the zoo is... you can bring your dog (provided you register them online)! Theo has been quite a few times, and he loves to watch the otters.
KOP is the 5th largest shopping mall in the US... it's massive! You honestly need a full day to shop there, but they have just about every major store you know.
Philadelphia has tons to do- there's lots of museums, the Reading Terminal Market (a massive indoor famer's market), Philly sports arenas, and of course Philly cheesesteaks.
A close-by, pretty garden that's perfect to stroll around on a nice day. Ticket prices are about $12.
If you're looking for nightlife closer than center city, Manayunk is perfect! Here you'll find bars, breweries, and restaurants on a lively main street along the tow path. We usually pay to park at the lot at 121 Green Lane, but there's a train station there as well.
Valley Forge National Historic Park has tons of hiking trails that run through the woods, by creeks, and even past historic sites from the Revolutionary War. There are historic structures, monuments, and museums. It's about a 20 minute drive from our wedding venue.
