XAVIER: As cheesy as it may sound, ever since the beginning of our relationship I knew it was something special. But it wasn't until the first time I really took care of Melissa after a dental procedure that had many complications, that I really realized how deeply I loved her. Being by her side and caring for her needs; whether it was bringing her medicine needed, finding food she was able to eat, or just support in that time.. Ever since then we have been inseparable. Many moments in our relationship have helped me grow my love for her immensely, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Now, as we reach this moment of marriage that we've always talked about and dreamed of, it feels surreal. I can't wait for all the adventures and more memories we will make together with this next step in our relationship. MELISSA: I always knew Xavier to be a sweet, caring and loving man but really it was when situations in life became difficult, that I learned I can depend on him through the toughest moments. Things had took a turn when a dear loved one's health was rapidly declining and was placed in hospice care; suddenly the days I had with her were now counted. Often times going over to the family home meant we'd be seeing each other a lot less, but one afternoon he made the time to come over to the home and found me cleaning the house (I tend to clean when I am stressed) and instead of saying a word, he grabbed supplies and started cleaning alongside me That day showed me more then anything that I have finally found someone who was willing to meet me half way wherever I was, no matter what. From that day on I knew it was Xavier that I wanted to be by my side forever. It's very surreal to finally be at this point in life together, planning a wedding and starting a marriage...
