What is the parking situation like?
Answer
The parking will be in our grass pasture with parking attendants to assist in parking. There is ample parking available, but carpooling is also recommended. The venue is on a gravel and paved private road mauka (toward the mountain) of the highway. 4X4 is not required, but higher clearance vehicles are recommended.

Can you describe the venue?
Answer
Pu'umoi Ranch is the family ranch that Syd grew up on in Papa'ikou. It consists of 20 acres with a barn, family homes, and lots of friendly animals (e.g. sheep, goats, chickens, horses, cows, ducks, cats, dogs). The ceremony and reception will both be held on the property in the barnyard area.

Is the wedding venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outdoors in a large grassy area between the barnyard and the home Syd grew up in. The reception will be held in the Baryard area, which includes a covered arena and small structures. There will also be a large tent for guests to sit under during the event. The ground is a mixture of grassy pasture, cinder, and dirt; high-heeled or stiletto sandals are not recommended.

How do I get there?
Answer
Pu'umoi Ranch is located on a private road. The physical address is 27-2387A Hawaii Belt Rd, but it is sometimes hard to find via a direction app. The best way to find the property is to type in to Google maps "Pu'umoi Country Cottage" (this is our family airbnb rental) and that will navigate you in the right direction. If you are coming from Hilo, you are going to take a left-hand turn mauka (towards the mountain) on Pu'umoi Road and drive about a half a mile up the road until you see the ranch property on your right. You will pass two driveways (both our family homes) before you enter into the parking area for the venue (also on your right). There will be signage from the main road to assist in finding us.
