On the anniversary of when we started dating was the big day! I made her believe that this was just going to be a normal anniversary like nothing was out of the ordinary. It could not be further from the truth. Down in San Diego, at the sunset cliffs was a rustic-inspired proposal set up waiting for the two of us to show up. As we approached, my heart began pounding trying to remember the speech I had prepared as she walked beside me clueless to the pending life-changing question. Just like that, in an instant, I was on my knee and her hands were covering her face. She had said YES! We gathered ourselves to take some pictures and returned home to our loving families waiting for our arrival. This day we will remember as the day that started our journey to be whole, complete, and in union with Christ. See you all in May!
