Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)
This will be the easiest option for out-of-state guests. MSP is a large international airport about a 2.5 hour drive (155 miles) away from the wedding venue in Solon Springs, and about 2 hours and 15 minutes by car away from the city Duluth.

Duluth also has a small airport with direct flights from MSP and Chicago. Some guests may prefer to fly here as it's only 50 minutes by car (42 miles) away from our wedding venue in Solon Springs, WI.
Shuttle

We will book a shuttle service to take guests from Duluth to Solon Springs in the afternoon and back again to Duluth at night. Specific details and schedule to be determined.

We have a room block for wedding guests at the Sheraton Hotel in Duluth. We will arrange shuttles between this hotel and the wedding venue on the day of the wedding. We also have a room block for wedding guests at the St. Croix Inn in Solon Springs, which is a 5 minute (1.6 miles) drive away from the wedding venue. This will also be a stop for the shuttle service. To book for our wedding, please call the front desk at (715) 378-4444 and tell them you are booking a room for the Simonds & Sun wedding on June 13, 2026. Please note, there is a 2 night minimum for this hotel, so you will have to book Saturday the 13th and at least one additional night if you wish to stay here.

Duluth is a popular tourist destination in the summer, and there are many hotel and Airbnb options in this city. The Canal Park district is a family-friendly and popular area with many hotel options, however hotels here can fill up fast so we recommend booking in advance. You can also find Airbnb and other house/suite/campground rental options in or near Solon Springs, WI, close to the wedding venue.
