A beautiful outdoor shopping center with lots of restaurants. It's also super close to the hotels and our venue. One of our favorite restaurants on the plaza is Fogo De Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse.
Known for the Westport entertainment area, with festive brewpubs, DJ bars and retro-chic diners serving American comfort food. During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques. Both the venue and AC Hotel locate within Westport.
The best and most authentic Chinese restaurant you can find in the Great Kansas City area. It's about 20 minutes outside the city. Great if you are staying in Kansas City for longer.
Similar concept as a buffet, you pay per person and you get unlimited delicious meats such as filet mignon. They also have an awesome cold bar for salads, shrimps and salmon.
If you like beer, you will love it here :) You can get flies of various different beer, including their experimental beers.
People say they are the best bar-b-que in the Kansas City area and how can you come to KC but not have BBQ? :D

Great museum with a ton of stuff to see. Sometimes they will even host different culture festivals and activities here, such as the Chinese New Year celebration.
Great food and they have the best tiramisu! This is about 30 minutes away from downtown KC and closer to where we live.
Another real good Italian place.
Not only their cheesecake is awesome, their food is also delicious.
Tim's new favorite breakfast food place. It is a local chain here.
