Introducing...

Karla Casariego

Maid of Honor

I know there was a time in my life before Xenia, but fortunately it was brief and I don’t remember it well. I suppose fate had her way when in Kindergarten we met, and our status as “best friends for ever and ever" was sealed and marked for infinity. In all of the times after Xenia - from the makeshift talent shows to the hula-hoop contests, to my surprise trip from California for her sweet 16 - no distance kept me from being with my best friend on her special day And that holds true to this day.  I am honored to celebrate another milestone as Xenia’s maid of honor - the day she marries the love of her life. I could not be more thrilled for these two beautiful individuals to be married. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!

Josh Prue

Best Man

Jeremy is my best friend and older brother. As we were growing up, we did everything together, including wrestling over who’s turn it was to spend their weekend mowing the lawn. We’ve made countless memories from renovating his house in Bowdoinham into the early morning, to weekend trips to visit in the city. I’m incredibly proud that Jeremy selected me to be his best man for his and Xenia’s big day! Cheers!

I moved to Hawthorne and began attending St. Anthony School in the second grade and Xenia became a close and loyal friend right from the beginning. We attended gymnastics class and karate lessons together, traveled to Jamaica, St. Maarten, Disney World & beyond, and enjoyed far too many awesome concerts (including about a dozen JoBros ones alone) to count. We shared laughs, tears, clothes, car rides all throughout high school, and even a few middle school crushes- LOL. Although I wish she and Jeremy lived closer to home, distance never stood a chance against our friendship. Xen, I feel so blessed to have you as a best friend for over 20 years and I am honored stand by your side as you marry the love of your life!

Groomsman

Jeremy and I met at a very young age. We grew up in the same neighborhood and our families have been very close for the majority of our lives. Although our careers put many miles between us, we have still remained closest of friends throughout the years. We have put together quite the collection of memories together, but a few come to mind. With our childhood summer wiffleball seasons, an unworldly amount of fusion frenzy, annual Baxter adventures, the holiday scotch tradition, and the infamous “roof ball” court, Jeremy and I have somehow made it out mostly unscathed thus far. This year, I am excited to add to that memory collection as we celebrate the union of Jeremy and Xenia. Couldn’t be happier for them both, and can’t wait to make more lasting memories!

Bridesmaid

It all started back in the 2nd grade when Xenia and Karla knocked on my front door. They were leaving the Hawthorne pool and wanted to say hi, then the rest is history. From our crazy homemade movies to basketball camps and Xenia always on the go from city to city, we still managed to be the best of friends. A forever friend. I’m so happy and excited to be a part of you and Jeremy’s special day. I’m looking forward to new memories and adventures with you guys!

Groomsman

Here is one of my favorite Jeremy memories: We were cooking dinner for the night of my own wedding (tip: never do this), and I realized after picking up the seafood that the mussels were fresh from the sea and needed to be cleaned, all 20 pounds. Prue to the rescue - he spent hours painstakingly debearding each and every little mollusk, scrubbing until his knuckles were bleeding, with a smile on his face the whole time. Jeremy is an 'all-in' type of friend. Game nights would become epic tournaments, science fair projects were treated with meticulous detail, no matter what you do with him, Jeremy strives to make the experience over-the-top. I'm beyond excited to be a part of this special day, and can only hope there will be some dirty mussels to help clean.

Bridesmaid

You know when some people say “we’ve been friends since the womb?” Well this time it’s actually true. Our moms rode the train to work in Manhattan together every day while pregnant with us! Five years later we met (again) in Kindergarten at SAS. Fast forward to 2021 and we have shared so many memories- countless laughs, travel, and sharing life changing moments together. I had the honor of having Xen by my side when I got married and I am so proud to be doing the same for her. Cheers to a lifetime of love, happiness and locker break cookies!

Groomsman

Jeremy and I met through mutual friends at the university of maine and became fast friends. We were roommates for our final year of college and shortly after at his house in Bowdoinham. In Bowdoinham I witnessed Jeremy produce a bountiful harvest of radishes in his backyard garden. If he turns out to be half as good a husband as he is a radish farmer, Xenia is in for a treat.

Jamie Prue

Bridesmaid

As Jeremy’s younger sister, I met Xenia on her first visit to Maine and I’ve loved her ever since. I’ve always looked up to Xenia for her sense of adventure, open mindedness, and the love she shares with my brother. We have shared so many memories together, from Boston weekends, late NYC nights, to living together during a global pandemic. I am so thankful to have Xenia by my side as my sister and I am even more excited to stand by hers on her special day.

Andrew Clark

Groomsman

Jeremy and Andrew met at UMaine in the Civil Engineering program. Their friendship had since spanned from relaxing on beaches in the Caribbean to sipping on beers in Brooklyn.

Emily Prue

Bridesmaid

As Jeremy’s sister in law, I met Xenia on her first trip to Maine to meet the Prue family. Since then, we have shared so many fun memories from eating meatball subs on the curb in Boston to midnight comedy shows in New York and dealing with the shenanigans of Josh and Jeremy. ;) She stood by my side on my wedding day and I could not be more excited to be there for her as she and Jeremy tie the knot this summer!

Adam Clark

Groomsman

Jeremy (which I think is the first time I’ve ever called him that - he’s known as Prue to me) and I met in college and we were roommates our senior year. From the famous Blender Night’s to our trip to a PGA Golf event to our spring break trip to Aruba, we’ve made many memories. Other than walking through a drive-thru Wendy’s in Aruba, one particular memory that sticks out is doing a 1000-rep challenge at the gym right after eating burritos. We all can guess how that one ended. I’m super excited to be part of Prue and his wonderful fiance, Xenia’s, wedding and wish them the very best in the future. P.S. I can always count on Prue to send me insane workout challenges that humans should not attempt.

Ben Pooler

Groomsman

Neither Jeremy or I remember when we met, but Orchard Trails in the late 00’s is a good guess. From that magical yet seemingly unmemorable moment, like a painted daisy, our friendship flourished through 3 phases. It sprouted from the earth on the slick wooden dance floor of Barnaby’s in Bangor. It blossomed into a beautiful flower on the many winding streets of Boston. And then finally, along with every muscle in our bodies, it died, on the grassy fields of Barre Massachusetts. But never fear, because like the perennial that is the painted daisy, it rose from the ashes like a breathtaking phoenix, stronger and brighter than ever. While I may be romanticizing a bit, Jeremy has been one of my best friends for the last 10+ years, and I’m so thrilled to be a part of his & Xenia’s special day.
