Yacht Village Molo Bar Šírava

This is a fantastic pub we love! The fried cheese is a must slovakian dish with fries. Garlic soup also 100% recommend. This pub is a 15 min taxi journey, not near the lake but it's in the local town Michalovce

U Grolla - Pilsner Urquell Restaurant And Pub

Restaurant 10 minute walk from eurobus hotel. Traditional food, cheap and cheerful.

Europenzión Salaš

The stop called Hôrka has these time slots for a boat trip 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00. It is 1 hour and costs £5.

Boat rides

This is a smaller lake, you can catch the bus or taxi there (10 min). There is a lovely spa hotel (Hotel Vinnay) and a nice restaurant. You can walk around this lake approx 1hr

Vinne Lake

This is a hike to see old castle ruins, we have personally never done it however people say its stunning. Beware of bears. There is no toilets or cafe up there fyi.

Viniansky hrad - A HIKE

15 min taxi ride or bus journey. This is a small town where that great pub is, few small shopping centres, cafes, amazing ice cream if its still open, but in general not a lot to see there.

Michalovce (local town)

This one is a little bit further away, 20 min drive. There is a carpark there and some routes to take for walks in the forest to lead you to this lake on top of a hill.
