Cooper and I went to New Orleans for our first trip together, and it has been a meaningful place for our relationship ever since. I also grew up visiting often, and we love its character, history, and culture. It gave us the perfect mix of a destination wedding feel while still being easy and affordable for our guests to travel to.
The ceremony starts promptly at 6:00 PM, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, ending around 10:00 PM, just in time to keep the celebration going on Bourbon Street! Please plan to arrive a little early for parking and seating.
The RSVP information and deadline will be added in Spring 2026. Thank you for your excitement and support!
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoors at Race and Religious. June in New Orleans is hot and humid, so dress in lightweight, breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes. We’ll have fans, shade, and cold drinks to help everyone stay cool.
We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!
We love your little ones, but our celebration will mostly be adults-only. Older kids and teens are welcome, and if your children are invited, it will be noted on your Save the Date, invitation, and RSVP.
Ride shares (Uber/Lyft) are strongly encouraged, as parking is extremely limited at the venue. Most hotels aren’t within walking distance, and a quick ride will also get you to Bourbon Street for the after-party fun!
Yes! We’ll have a full open bar with cocktails crafted for our celebration. Please drink responsibly so everyone can enjoy the night safely.
We’re mixing it up with a food truck and passed tapas-style plates! Expect bites like chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, tacos, truffle fries, jambalaya, and more, plus a grazing board. Come hungry, it’s going to be delicious!
As fun as that sounds, pool jumping isn’t allowed due to venue rules (and the fine isn’t a cute wedding favor!). Keep your dancing shoes on instead!
