Our time as students at the University of Northern Iowa, was only the beginning of our love story…

Our first apartment together was in Iowa City on top of Benton st. AC never really worked, but it had walls, a ceiling and door. This was the perfect first apartment…if we could make a home there, we could make a home anywhere!

When Gavin proposed, Xenia was so speechless that he had to ask again to bring her back to reality and give a resounding yes. Gavin always wanted a surprise proposal. Xenia was thinking it would happen in 3-5 years…surprise!

Now we are ready for our love story’s next chapter as newlyweds!
