What will the weather be like that time of year?

Answer

October in Philly is a beautiful time of year. We anticipate the Awbury Arboretum to put on a stunning arboreal show as trees across the area turn spectacular autumn shades of red, orange and yellow. Expect afternoon temperatures to be very pleasant, averaging in the lower 70s f (22-23C) with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s f (about 14C). We would describe the temperature to be mildly cool.

Is there a shuttle to and from the ceremony?

Can I drive to the wedding?

Answer

You can arrive to the wedding event by car, however please be mindful that it will be street parking and the venue is about a 10 minute walk slightly uphill.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we prefer to celebrate with just you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional Gentleman: dark suit and tie or tuxedo Ladies: short or long dress or dressy jumpsuits The ceremony will be outside, so be mindful of your shoe choice!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We can help you book babysitters for the event if necessary!
