Dress code is Festive! This is a relatively new dress code so here's a quick description! "Festive attire invites guests to really have fun with their outfits and show off their personal style. The festive dress code is essentially somewhere between cocktail and semi-formal attire but with bright colors, prints, and statement jewelry galore." Have a dope fit that you've kept in the closet for too long cause you think it might be "too much"? Let's see it! Most importantly we want all of our guests to feel good and have fun! The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. So please arrive about 30-45 min before to get settled and seated!
Our families seem to be ever expanding, so to keep things intimate the only kiddos welcome are those who call us Auntie or Uncle.
Oh boy is there parking! There is a parking lot directly across from the venue with more than enough space for all of our guests! Street parking on the north side of the building is also available. If you plan on attending the after party at The Sugar Maple we would recommend walking if you’re able. It is about a 3 block walk. Parking is more limited in that area, but feel free to drive if you’d prefer.
Yes! Both Enlightened Brewing Company and The Sugar Maple are accessible. Enter through the front of Enlightened and the side door of Sugar Maple, there is 1 small step at the front door of Sugar Maple.
The majority of the event will be held indoors. Our cocktail hour will be held outside with weather permitting. Cross your fingers and maybe bring an extra layer if it’s 55 degrees or above. Welcome to Wisconsin ya’ll.
We will only be setting spaces for people who’s names are on invitations. Please refrain from bringing any extra guests, including but not limited to, your new manz, besties, TT’s, and work wives.
We will be providing an open bar for the reception. The after party will be a cash bar at The Sugar Maple.
We will be hiring a professional photographer for the ceremony and we kindly ask that guests refrain from using cell phones or other devices to take pictures during that time. We will be providing disposable cameras during the reception that we encourage our guests to use. You can let loose with your phones at this time as well! If sharing on socials please use #XANDABIGDAY so we can check it out!
