From fraternity meetings to work meetings, their friendship spans 2 houses, an apartment, a condo, 2 jobs, 10 years, and countless stories. Just don't ask Joey about the time he fractured his wrist.

Ever since middle school, Chris has always been the hardest person to read. But deep down, he's just a sarcastic jerk with a questionable sense of humor. He's also one of the most selfless and loyal friends we'll ever have. One day I (Joe) might forgive him for abandoning me after freshman year for a whole other school. That's when we found out that Sam's real name was "Chris' baseball career". Love you buddy. Glad that baseball career worked out!

The very best collegiate racquet ball partner and my fearless nature-lady! Atalie and I met through her boyfriend, Jack, when I was transferring to Cal. She dragged me into the Cal racquetball team, made me get a football season pass, and let me live with her part-time (which was basically just us having weekly sleepovers and wine). Needless to say she's the most selfless, but sassy, person i know!

In high school Joe and Matt would always talk about buying land and living close to each other. Matt is way ahead of us on that dream, but made it really hard for everyone else since he decided to do it in Texas! Much time was spent taking college road trips to Chico, but nowadays, their bonding is mostly over spontaneous Call of Duty sessions.

Stranger to roommate --> work wife --> live-in 3rd wheel. Megan and I met in Chicago as complete strangers, took a week long trip to Italy together just to become besties for life! Joe still loves us after living with us for a year of lockdown, so safe to say this friendship is forever!

Another high school sweetheart of Joes. If Joe wasn't at his own house, he was absolutely in the Benavidez' garage (shoutout John and Michelle!). After Chris broke Joe's heart and left for Japan with the marines, they still stayed in touch as glorified pen pals. We all thought that 5 years in the marines would have changed him, but low and behold, the same Benny came back! Thank goodness for Milla keeping him grounded. No matter how many years pass, he's still the same Benny we love!

Recently he's started turning in his South Pole attire and putting on his Sperrys so he can learn the family trade- Sailing. Like I said, Wild card!

I went to the Netherlands for work and came back with a best friend/ travel buddy! What started as her being my unofficial Dutch language tutor turned into daily donut breaks at the ALDI and spontaneous weekend trips. Marloes and I traveled through Austria, Finland, Estonia and of course the Netherlands together and gained several kg in chocolate cakes alone. The friend who is always down for cat cafe or a frikandelbroodje and who helped me keep Wanna Waffle in business! De allerbeste Nederlandse vriend!

Swole Nole is still Joe's favorite gym partner. They got close in college bonding over the gym and being the last standing members of their fraternity friends. It was really cool of him to ditch Joe to move down to San Diego, just to move back right after Joe left Sacramento. Just kidding, because we all needed you to go study law and become our crazy friend group's lawyer.
