Tiwa

Bridesmaid - Bride's Sister

My name is Tiwa and I am the younger sister of the bride!!! Something I enjoy doing is braiding my own hair. I am excited to gain a brother and witness the union of Toke and Xavier! I pray that this union will be the start of a life full of love, peace, and prosperity, in Jesus name! #XOXO🩷

Moyo

Bridesmaid - Bride's Sister

Hello everyone I’m Moyosola, proud bridesmaid and Toke’s little sister and I’ve the honor to getting to know Xavier from their wonderful relationship. I am more of a chilled individual so I like to relax and watch my favorite shows. My word of advice for the new couple is always spend time together and listen to each other.

Karelyn

Bridesmaid - Groom's Sister

Groom's Sister, Pickleball Queen, and Painter. Dear Toke and Xavier, Well, you’ve officially signed up for a lifelong sleepover with your favorite person. Congratulations! Marriage is full of love, laughter, and an alarming number of decisions; mainly about priorities and the munchies. You know, the essentials. But if anyone can make it work (and look effortlessly fabulous doing it), it’s you two. You balance each other out perfectly—like snacks and Netflix, or late nights and early mornings. May your life together be filled with inside jokes, kisses in the kitchen, and just the right amount of agreeing to disagree (the pinch of salt and magic in every marriage). Here’s to building a life that’s less “picture perfect” and more “perfectly yours.” Wishing you both all the joy, patience, and takeout food your hearts can handle.

Kike

Bridesmaid- The KI to her KE

I’m Kike and I’m Toke’s friend. She’s the Toke to my Kike and I’m the Kike to her Toke! 🩷Interested in cooking, hiking, and more recently, I have been curious about pottery. I know this was ordained by God, so I know God is with you both. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, deep joy and love. May your marriage shine so bright that it draws people to you and to God. Welcome to a new season! Much love to you both!

Victoria

Bridesmaid- The first "Omosi"

Omotoke is also affectionately called Omosi by her adopted mum who happens to be my mum as well. So, for the rest of this write-up, she’ll be referred to as Omosi. ☺️ I didn’t like Omosi at first. Part of it was my own impatience. I didn’t take the time to truly understand her. And honestly, the paranoia of “what if she hurts me like others did?” clouded any desire I had to get to know her. I carried biases that, while not worth mentioning now, definitely made it hard for me to warm up to her. It took a long time. So when I say that our relationship is God-ordained, I mean it. God has a way of using relationships to show His love for me, and one of the clearest expressions of that love is the friendship I now share with Omosi. I truly enjoy my alone time. It gives me the space to dive into the things that bring me joy, like home décor and staging. I occasionally sketch and paint, I also enjoy sewing, even if I rarely wear the things I make. Really, anything creative or artsy tends to spark my interest. I’m endlessly fascinated by the creative power of the mind. It's such an exceptional gift God gave to humanity. Finding an outlet like art to express that creativity brings deep contentment to my heart. God is already a priority in your life, but as you step into this new chapter, He must become an even greater priority; above even yourselves. If you want to experience the fullness of what marriage is, never take your eyes off the pages of His Word.

Naomi

Bridesmaid

I had the joy of meeting both of you at work years ago, and from those early days, our connection grew into something so special. What began as colleagues turned into true friendship—and with Toke, a sisterhood I deeply cherish. You both have such radiant spirits, and I'm grateful to be part of your journey. In my downtime, I’m all about games—video games like Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs. Capcom, and all the Super Mario Bros. classics are my go-to! I also love playing board games and just vibing and relaxing with good company. 🌟 Marriage Blessing for Omotoké & Xavier 🌟 Dear Omotoké & Xavier, Congratulations on your beautiful union! As you step into this sacred covenant of marriage, I pray that God's richest blessings overflow in every part of your life together. May your home be filled with peace that surpasses understanding, unshakable love, everlasting joy, and abundant prosperity. Always put God first in all things, for He is the anchor that steadies every storm and the light that guides through every season. Lead with love, uphold one another in prayer, grow in understanding, and communicate with grace and honesty. May your love continue to blossom, rooted deeply in faith, and may your marriage be a reflection of God’s enduring love for His people. I am honored to witness your journey and to celebrate this incredible milestone with you both! With love and blessings, Naomi Burks

Shanique

Bridesmaid; The Waka flocka flame

Hello! I’m Shanique Walker aka Waka flocka flame! How do I know you guys? I met Xavier through working at Santa Rita. I met Omotoke at the same job and we’ve worked a few places together since and are the bestest of friends! For fun I do DIY things around the house, play in makeup and really any kind of activity that allows me to be creative. You’re both already amazing on your own, and now you’re choosing to build something even more powerful—together. Keep pouring into each other. Keep asking the honest, hard questions. Don’t run from the uncomfortable stuff—walk through it together. Be each other’s safe space, but also your own biggest advocates. Hold tight to your why, and trust that God will always show you the how. I’m so happy for you both. Watching you say “yes” to this kind of love… it just reminds me that real love is worth the wait. And if life is a roller coaster, it’s even better with someone who’s just as excited to ride it beside you. You two make that ride look so worth it.

Maung

Groomsman - Groom's Brother-in-law

Pickleball King, latte artist, and connoisseur. Hello everyone! I’m Maung, the brother-in-law of the groom and married to the lovely bridesmaid Karelyn. My new hobby is playing pickleball and trying to get better at it! I also enjoy making lattes and drinking coffees at specialty cafes across the world. Hey Xavier and Toke! Glad to be a part of this journey with you as you take your next step. Marriage is not easy and it takes two to tango. I believe that you will both learn and grow as you love each other in marriage. I hope you can grow closer to each other and also grow closer to God. As you begin this beautiful journey together, may you always abide by the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: ‘Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.’ Without love, nothing holds meaning—but with it, your marriage will be a testament to faith, grace, and unshakable devotion. May God bless your union!

Pham

Groomsman

My name is Anthony Pham and I met Xavier through the sheriffs academy and also had the pleasure of working alongside him in a housing unit and later in a specialized unit. While working in a specialized unit, I had the opportunity to work with Toké by providing security for her while she performed her mental health assignments. I enjoyed working with Toké until she decided to stab me in my back by stealing Xavier from me… I enjoy getting boba…with Xavier. I enjoy going to the shooting range…with Xavier. I enjoy traveling and eating…with Xavier. I enjoy working out…with Xavier. I enjoy playing games and recently playing golf…with Xavier. I also enjoy working…whenever Xavier works. You’re about to embark on this wonderful journey together and I am excited to be a part of this and wish you the best! A marriage isn’t a relationship where you give 50 and expect your partner to meet you halfway. It’s a special relationship where you have to commit 100% each to make it work. Remember, you will have many good days and a few bad days. If it gets bad enough, you can reach out to me Xavier and we can elope together….just kidding.

Aaron

Groomsman

Hello, I’m Aaron Jolivette. I met Xavier in college, as computer science majors, and for several years we were both roommates and coworkers. We've been friends since then. As an introvert, Xavier helped get me out of the dorm even though I tended to stay in the room playing video games. Xavier has been a great friend. When I didn’t have a car and walked or biked to work, Xavier would lend me a hand so I didn’t have to struggle as often both late at night or early in the mornings. When I offered to help pay for gas I remember he would mainly decline. After finally saving up enough to get my first car on a $8 an hour wage, Xavier was that reliable friend to help when experiencing car troubles. After college I joined the US Air Force and around the same time he signed up for the police academy but since then we’ve remained in contact and have shared many great experiences. From being avid movie goers, to attending shows or events and even taking group trips over seas. I’ve always known Xavier to be a kind generous person, his personality is great and I’ve always remembered since the beginning of our friendship how far he is willing to go for others. Congratulations to both you Xavier & Omotoke. Cheers to many more positive memories to come, continued happiness, and everlasting prosperity to both you and your family! I’m happy for your continued success and am honored to be one of your groomsmen.
