Tori and Xavier met at a bar in their little college town, Crookston, Minnesota, during homecoming week. Wednesday night, Tori drove Xavier and his buddies home from the bar. His apartment just happned to be the same building as hers. Tori lived in room 114 and Xavier 314. They lived exactly two floors part the whole time, in apartment number 14, their favorite number. After that night it was impossible to keep them apart. Any day of the week they found resasons to be together: riding to class, doing "homework", watching sports games, you name it.
After just over two years together, Tori got an incredible job in North Carolina. Xavier, pursuing his MBA online, followed her. Together they got an apartment and two puppies. Then, on July Fourth, both of their families gathered at Tori's childhood home in Minnesota for family pictures that were 10 years overdue. The final photos were taken next to Tori's trees that grow along the small creek in the Koch's back yard. At the end of the shoot, Tori and Xavier took a few "couples" shots, and there, under those trees, Xavier dropped to one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him.
