Though most foreign travel requires that you have a valid passport to come back home, cruising makes it easier to enjoy your vacation without worrying about this paperwork. If you are a US citizen, you can take a “closed-loop cruise” (one that begins and ends at the same port) to The Bahamas without a passport. Instead, you’ll need to present another proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID. Of course, if you have a valid passport, you are welcome to use it on your cruise as well.
We strongly advise you to come 1-2 days early to avoid any issues with flight cancellations, weather, etc.
As a guest on a Carnival Cruise, you'll have round-the-clock access to a variety of dining options, including buffets, burgers, tacos, and pizza. Additionally, complimentary formal dinners are offered every evening, and we highly recommend taking advantage of them. Please note that while alcohol and soft drinks are not included in your cabin fare, optional beverage packages are available for purchase.
There will be buses chartered for the group. More will come on pick-up time from the dock so stay tuned. That said, don't be late, as there isn't much of a time cushion. After the ceremony and cake cutting, the buses will bring us back to the port.
We encourage you to take advantage of Camp Ocean - a complimentary kids camp. Speaking from experience, I loved my time with kids my age aboard. Plus, then the parents get some deserved R&R. As an FYI we do prefer you take advantage of this service during our wedding ceremony... again, it is complimentary.
